One of the hot new trends for this winter 2010 is what I like to call Cabin Feva. It's a super cute wintery look that can be worn for everyone. Its all about sweaters! Sweaters! Sweaters! And more sweaters! Heres some info on the trend and some pictures that gives you a more detailed idea of the look.
KNITWEAR COATIGAN - Knee length cardigan coats called coatigans. Nordic snowflake/fair isle patterns. Cable knits, uneven draping cardigans and ponchos. Long tunic style knitwear for cosy layering, belting.Lagenlook/Layering of wispy mohair or cashgora knits, chunky cables. Isabel Marant showed gossamer light knitted furs creating pieces that fit in with several trends. There are also knit berets, bobbles, oversized scarves, cowls/snoods.
The fashion colors: Always topical, we find the black and gray, excellent winter color, will also tend navy blue and khaki in a masculine spirit and military. Finally, we must rely on the camel, associated with more autumnal colors like red, mahogany, copper and maybe a touch of red.
